CHARITY SUPPORT

Eyes Right
Principal People supports Eyes Right. Eyes Right is a registered charity working to raise money for the Eye Unit at St Peter's Hospital in Chertsey, Surrey.

Principal People Chairman, Frances Davies, founded Eyes Right in 2003 to raise extra money for St. Peter’s Eye Unit in Chertsey. Frances says: “The charity, Eyes Right, is a subsidiary of the Friends of St. Peter’s Hospital and was originally set up as a result of my 85-year-old mother having a cataract operation by Mr. Tappin. She was so delighted with her sight afterwards that she persuaded me to organise a charity concert. Whilst attending the eye unit with my mother, I was soon aware that Mr. Tappin himself, devoted a great deal of time and effort fundraising for the unit. This all impressed me so much that I decided he needed some help and so decided to set up Eyes Right.” Frances, who suffers from glaucoma says: “Major administration and financial support from Principal People, along with local and associated companies to Principal People have given invaluable help to Eyes Right and enabled extra equipment to be purchased for the eye unit.”
