We are recruiting...

This week is a refreshing and stimulating time for everyone at Principal People. The reason for this is that we are kicking off our recruitment campaign - the search has begun for the very best individuals to join our team.

To elaborate on our staff successes and experiences at Principal People, I have compiled a mix of our staff stories and thoughts:

Harry Harding, Recruitment Consultant (joined in 2017)

“My time at Principal People so far has taught me so much. Coming from a sports coaching background, I was apprehensive about going into an office role. However, there was no need for the apprehension. The people are amazing, I couldn’t have picked a better bunch of people to work with. A stand out memory for me was pulling my first job, a great feeling that has happened twice since! I couldn’t have done it without the expert training given to me and the support from senior management.”

Elliott Ralf, Senior Resourcer (joined in 2014)

“Initially not knowing if I would be successful when first joining, as I had no recruitment experience, I am overjoyed and proud to say that this is my fourth year at Principal People. I am a Senior Resourcer within the Construction Division and I love my job. I like knowing that there is never a moment that I can’t reach for progression and I am so lucky that there are constantly people around me that will aim to help my development.”

Alex Gover, Trainee Consultant (joined in 2017)

"Principal People is a fantastic business. I joined Principal People in 2017, with my initial aspirations to train to become an Accountant in a successful business. A few months into my employment, I was pulled aside for a conversation around gaining more responsibilities. Principal People have helped me to grow so much more than I could have asked for. They continue to push me to become the best I can be. I started this journey as an Accounts Apprentice on an apprenticeship scheme, now as a Trainee Consultant, the potentials of where this journey can take me are so exciting. I certainly do not want it to end."

Jess Bullock, Marketing and Support Coordinator (joined in 2016)

“Two years ago, I was in a position where I didn’t want to go to university and I was unsure about my career path. I had no idea what I wanted to be. I started Principal People as an Administrative Apprentice – it was great, and I learnt and perfected many skills. One of the skills I favoured was Marketing. Principal People adapted a role around my interests and have given me the opportunity to do what I love. This has shown me that if they see potential in someone, they will go out of their way to help them be the best person they could possibly be.”

Francheska Johnston, Recruitment Consultant (joined in 2018)

“My time so far working for Principal people has been very enjoyable and rewarding in the sense of being a part of helping candidates find their dream job and being a part of a motivational, ambitious, friendly and supportive team who encourage you to achieve your goals and to believe in yourself.”
