Principal People – Technical Services are currently supporting a forward-thinking Housing Association in the search for a dedicated Estates Officer to oversee the maintenance and quality standards of their estates.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of residents while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and housing standards across the portfolio.

As an Estates Officer, you’ll be responsible for:
  • Conducting regular site inspections and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Identifying improvement opportunities to enhance living environments and proposing innovative solutions.
  • Engaging positively with residents, addressing concerns, and fostering a strong sense of community.
  • Collaborating with teams to ensure prompt resolution of maintenance and compliance issues.
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and management across all estates.
What You’ll need in order to be successful:
  • Experience in estate or facilities management, ideally within housing or property sectors.
  • A solid understanding of health and safety regulations, including Fire Risk Assessments.
  • Exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills to manage inspections, reporting, and resident engagement.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.
