Is your Health and Safety role becoming repetitive? Looking for a varied role day to day in Health and Safety?Principal People is recruiting for a Transport organisation for a Health and Safety Advisor to join their growing health and safety team.
You will be working in a varied role where you will be helping change the attitudes towards safety and develop a positive safety culture throughout the large location. You will be part of a wider Health and Safety Team and will be working closely with the supportive Head of Health and Safety.
The role will be incredibly varied due to the complexity of the environment which will help you develop your career as you will be exposed to various risks.
Health and Safety Advisor – Transport – £38k - £42k + Package - Manchester
We would love to see CVs from people who have:
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- Minimum of 3 years of Health and Safety experience
- Operational Health and Safety background
- Competent with Microsoft, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
As the Health and Safety Advisor you will be responsible for:
- Working with the site operational team to implement a proactive strategy for Health and Safety
- Being both proactive and reactive regarding Health and Safety requirements throughout the location
- Working closely with the senior leadership team within the business who are open to development and change
- Creating policies and procedures for the site to make continuous improvements.
- Manage and prioritise your diary and tasks
