We are excited to be recruiting for a Health & Safety Advisor on behalf of a leading Utilities and Civil Engineering organisation with a varied portfolio of projects. A stable organisation with projects and contracts across the North West, the company is seeking an additional Health & Safety Advisor to join their experienced team.

This role is hands-on and operational, offering autonomy and flexibility. You’ll manage your own schedule, conducting site visits, work from home and supporting local offices throughout Lancashire.

The key responsibilities of the Health and Safety Advisor:
  • Provide Health and Safety guidance across multiple sites.
  • Conduct Health and Safety audits and inspections.
  • Support the Health and Safety Manager.
  • Undertake incident investigations and implement preventative measures to avoid similar incidents repeating.
  • Drive a positive Health and Safety culture throughout the wider business.
  • Engage and work closely with all areas of the organisation
The Successful Health and Safety Advisor will hold:
  • NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience within Utilities, Telecommunications, Construction, Civil Engineering, Highways or similar
Remuneration and benefits:
  • A basic salary of £45,000 - £50,000.
  • Bonus up to 10%
  • Car allowance
