Principal People are pleased to be working exclusively with a global leader in insurance, risk management and consulting services who are looking for a Health and Safety Consultant to join their Risk Management team and work with clients in the higher education sector.

The focus of this role is to provide health and safety / risk management consultancy services to the company’s established and expanding higher education client base.

As Health and Safety Consultant you will:
  • Provide health and safety advice to a portfolio of higher education clients.
  • Prepare proposals to clients on a range of services based on their needs.
  • Conduct a range of health and safety reviews and produce high quality reports containing practical suggestions for improvement.
  • Develop, update and present various in-house and open training events on a variety of health and safety and risk management topics.
  • Work with management in the development and promoting of new services and products.

The successful Health and Safety Consultant will have:
  • A recognised qualification in Health and Safety / Risk Management
  • Experience in a customer or client facing role.
  • Experience working in education or the public sector is preferable.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact and influence at high levels.
  • Good time management skills, with the ability to organise workload and prioritise tasks
