Are you ready to lead health and safety in a growing manufacturing business? This is your chance to shape safety culture in a newly created role, driving behavioural safety and operational improvements at a forward-thinking company.

We’re looking for a Health and Safety Manager to join a food manufacturing business at their site in Stratford-upon-Avon. This autonomous role offers the opportunity to make your mark, with support from the Operations Director and wider leadership team.

You’ll play a key role in developing safety systems, embedding behavioural safety, and creating a proactive safety culture. The business has ISO 14001 accreditations in place and is looking to further strengthen their environmental and safety standards.

Key duties of the Health and Safety Manager:
  • Act as the site’s health and safety lead, driving a positive safety culture.
  • Carry out risk assessments and ensure compliance with site policies and legal requirements.
  • Lead on accident investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Develop and maintain ISO 14001 and 45001 management systems.
  • Engage with employees on the shop floor, promoting safe behaviours.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and take part in daily SLT meetings.
Why you should apply:
  • Newly created role with the opportunity to shape safety standards from the ground up.
  • Autonomous position with support from the Operations Director and wider group.
  • Fun, close-knit business culture with long-term growth plans.
  • You will be leading the safety for the growing business.
  • Competitive salary, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, 8% employer pension, private medical insurance, and discretionary bonus.
Please apply if you:
  • Hold a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
  • Have experience in manufacturing.
  • Have working knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems.
  • Are proactive, hands-on, and confident engaging with people at all levels.
If you’re ready to step into an autonomous role, drive behavioural safety, and make a lasting impact – this could be your next career move.
