Overview
Principal People are excited to be partnered with a well-known retail establishment, who are looking for a Health and Safety Officer to join them on a 3 month FTCThis role will be a completely homebased requirement and the successful candidate will be required to assist the business in an administrative focus including dealing with telephone H&S queries from store managers, replying and assisting in H&S queries from the health and safety department email, liaising with a range of stakeholders including store managers , regional managers and directors, assisting in accident investigations and reporting, prioritization of tasks and H&S queries and using a common sense approach to dealing with raised H&S matters across the business.
They are looking for a strong verbal communicator and the role is to pay £28,000-31,000, working a 35 hour working week.
The successful Health and Safety Officer will:
- NEBOSH General qualified (or Equivalent)
- Any retail sector experience is desirable
- Any experience workign within the charity sector is desirable
- Be available for an immediate start.
- Utilise a common-sense approach to H&S.
- Be an engaging, strong communicator able to liaise at all levels.
