Do you have an interest in historical preservation?Principal People are working with an infrastructure organisation, with a focus on heritage considerations, to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor to predominantly cover sites in the South West with offices in Bristol, Salisbury and Kent.
Working across a wide range of areas including Maritime, Processing, Excavations and Earthworks, alongside some of the most respected tier-one contractors in the country. This a great opportunity to secure a role with variety on a day-to-day basis meaning no two days are the same.
With a strong commitment to your work-life balance, this organisation offers flexible and hybrid working, with the expectation being 50% of your time from home and 50% of the time on site or in the office.
The Successful Health and Safety Advisor will be responsible for:
- Carrying out on-site Health and Safety duties, including accident investigations, site audits, risk assessments and site inductions.
- Offering appropriate advice and support to the on-site staff around Health and Safety matters.
- Creating and Implementing practical and effective methods to promote awareness of Health and Safety.
- Creating positive relationships with the sites to help improve the HSE Culture across the business.
- NEBOSH General or Equivalent.
- Multi-faceted experience including construction or civil engineering.
- Good communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of a business.
- Salary up to £45,000
