OverviewPrincipal People is recruiting for a SHEQ Advisor to join a highly reputable, innovative transport operating organisation, based near Derby. This position is a 12-month FTC and is to pay the successful candidate a salary of £35,000 - £40,000.

As the SHEQ Advisor, you will work a predominantly office-focused position assisting the business and Head of Safety with overall SHEQ compliance.
This includes collation of relevant documentation, producing relevant SHEQ reporting for senior management, dealing with safety output surveys, accident investigation, implementing new SHEQ initiatives, and occasional site visits amongst many other related duties.
The successful SHEQ Advisor will:
- Hold a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
- Hold generic health and safety experience with a varied sector background
- Be happy to work in a close-knit team in an office-based environment
- Be an engaging and communicative individual able to liaise at all levels.
