Carbon Manager – Near Milton Keynes – Ref 26920GW

£55,000 - £65,000 + Company Car/Car Allowance, Private pension scheme, 26 days AL, Subsistence, Travel Allowance

Principal People are delighted to be in partnership with a highly sought-after major infrastructure business, recruiting for a Carbon Manager who will be working on a large project based near Milton Keynes and overseeing a project across the home counties.

This standalone role will be responsible for the carbon function of the project at a group level across multiple sites. With the ability to establish and develop a positive environmental culture this truly is a unique opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant legal documents and policies associated with Carbon and climate change across the project.
  • Support the environmental lead with carbon and climate change objectives
  • Evaluate the carbon effects of environmental designs to lower and prevent environmental effects
  • Support the wider environmental team and increase the awareness within, specifically regarding carbon and climate change.

The Successful Carbon Manager will hold:

  • Experience working as a Carbon Manager Construction/Infrastructure/Civil engineering industry
  • Experience working on Major infrastructure projects within the UK
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Remuneration and Benefits:

  • £55,000 - ££65,000, dependent on experience.
