Climate Change Consultant - £30k-£40k plus discretionary bonus, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and flexible working structure – based in London

Principal people are delighted to announce a partnership with a market leading sustainability consultancy. This is an exceptional opportunity for a climate change professional to join a fast growing organisation. This position offers the chance to manage your own projects with real estate and financial clients that include household names and work alongside established Sustainability Consultants.

The business has experienced consistent growth for several years and with ever increasing demand from their global clients, the business have a requirement for a Climate Change Consultant. Reporting directly into the Assistant Director, the successful candidate will join a supportive team that are passionate about making a difference through sustainability.

The successful Climate Change Consultant will have responsibilities including the following:   

  • Conducting carbon audits and write-up subsequent reports
  • Working closely with clients to implement climate change and Net Zero strategy
  • Auditing and analysis of energy consumption data
  • Nurturing existing client relationships
  • Supporting Graduate Sustainability Consultants

The successful Climate Change Consultant will have:

  • Degree level in related discipline (or equivalent)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An understanding of climate change and carbon reduction models (e.g. GHG, SBT, WRI)
  • Experience as a sustainability professional within real estate or related industry

In return the successful Climate Change Consultant will receive:   

  • A basic salary of up to £40,000 per annum
