Construction Health and Safety Advisor – House build - £47,000 - £55,000

This is a unique opportunity to join on of the UK’s leading providers of social and affordable housing, the role will sit within the associations safety team and work directly within is new build construction arm. The association have a healthy development pipeline and have plans to deliver 2000 new homes year on year offering fantastic job security.

Reporting to the Head of Health and Safety you will have responsibility for health and safety across a number of land lead schemes, the successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to make a big difference in an expanding and high preforming organisation who are keen to be a market leader.

This position will be based from a regional office with travel across their property portfolio when required, the focus of the role is to implement the company’s construction safety strategy, to work closely with operational team and contractors to keep improving the health and safety of the organisation.

The appointed Health and Safety Business Partner will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing and developing policies and procedures
  • Developing new ways to keep the workforce safe
  • Managing health and safety across newbuild development projects
  • Providing guidance and assurance to the organisation

The ideal candidate must possess:

  • A NEBOSH Construction certificate and a NEBOSH Diploma level qualification as a minimum
  • Graduate Member of IOSH as a minimum
  • Experience in managing safety on new build residential premises
