Are you an operational Health and Safety professional looking to work for a highly successful, global business that truly value HSE and the development of their staff? If so, this could be the role for you!

The business are one of the largest recycling organisations in the world and this role will offer a great opportunity to inspire and engage with site teams to increase and develop the standard of Health and Safety across the business. You will report to the Regional Health and Safety Manager who is focused on actioning change within the business.  

This role is a great opportunity for a developing Health and Safety professional looking to progress their career within Safety. This role will require travel across company sites primarily in Kent and South East London.

Health and Safety Advisor – Kent - £40K-£42K + Car or £6.6K Car Allowance

As the Health and Safety Advisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Working with the site operational teams and implementing a proactive strategy to Health and Safety
  • Coaching and mentoring people within the business on best safe practices
  • Delivering upon company policies and procedures for sites and taking them from a good level of safety to excellence.  
  • Investigating accidents and investigations and working on a solution to reduce the risk of these reoccurring.

  • A NEBOSH General Certificate 
  • Experience within a dedicated Health and Safety Position previously
  • Experience within an operational Health and Safety role ideally within a similar sector i.e. Recycling, Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, Processing etc.
  • Experience or are happy to work across multiple sites
