Health and Safety Manager £250-£275 per day, 4-week contract (with the possibility of extension or a permanent position after), Wembley

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for the position for a Health and Safety Manager with a market leading company.
Principal People are delighted to announce that we are working with a key client of ours in the recycling and waste industry who focus most of their projects in the construction sector, with a head office in Wembley and sites stretching across the capital. This will be on an initial 4-week contract as a Health and Safety Manager with the possibility of extension or a permanent position as a Health and safety Advisor, second to the safety manager after the initial contract.
As the competent person for Health and Safety, the primary function of the Health and Safety Manager is to communicate best practice policies and practices across the group to ensure the safety of their employees and site teams.
The successful Health and Safety Manager needs to ideally be based in a location commutable to Wembley and be happy to work over and array of different construction sites.
The successful Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for:
- Monitoring Asbestos Removal
- Fire Risk Assessments
- Road Site Safety Management
- Accident and Investigations
- Ensuring general safety and compliance is impeccable across sites
- Site safety meetings
- Reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements
To be considered for the position the successful candidate must have
- A NEBOSH General of equivalent
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent is highly beneficial for the role
- A drivers licence
- Experience in Construction, M&E, and Environmental is essential in order to be considered for the role.
This industry leading company are offering a day rate between £250-£275 per day (depending on experience).
