Health and Safety Manager – Events & Leisure - London – up to £50,000 + Package

Principal People are delighted to be exclusively partnered with a dynamic, exciting organisation specialising in events safety.

The business are recruiting for a Health and Safety Manager to advise on the safe practices of the company’s operational employees as well as project management of safety with the business’ impressive clientele.

This is an exceptional opportunity for someone that is:

  • Currently a Senior Health and Safety / HSEQ / SHEQ Advisor with experience mentoring / coaching other safety professionals
  • Currently a Health and Safety / HSEQ / SHEQ Manager within; Retail, Events, FM, Leisure industries
  • Looking to bridge the gap in their career between Advisor / Manager and have leadership qualities
  • In an advisory level position with aspirations of becoming a Manager in the future

The role will involve:

  • Working predominantly within London at their central office and client sites, approximately 3 days a week in the office and 2 at client sites
  • Undertaking fast-paced and exciting safety project management work
  • Supporting the existing operational health and safety team and working closely with the senior management of the business

As the successful Health and Safety Manager, you will:

  • Have 2-3 years’ experience in a public-facing (ideally events) Health and Safety role
  • Hold a NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum
  • Ideally have worked in the following industry sectors; events safety, project management, sports events, public safety, crowd safety, fire safety and / or working with structures
