Home-Based Health and Safety Manager – South East - £50K-£55K – House Building

Principal people are delighted to offer a genuinely unique opportunity for a Health and Safety Manager to join a leading housebuilding organisation. This is a newly created position due to the phenomenal organic growth of the business and as a result the perfect opportunity for a passionate health and safety professional to make a difference within an experienced and established team.

This particular position will be covering a variety of housebuilding sites predominantly within Sussex, Kent & parts of Surrey whilst being based from home. This role reports directly into the Group Health and Safety Manager, with the opportunity to liaise and communicate with key shareholders.

Day-to-day duties:

• Supporting the implementation of HSE Management systems to drive a positive health and safety culture
• Work alongside site management teams to develop construction phase plans
• Carry out site inspections, audits, and investigations across a variety of house-building sites within the South East

Remuneration and Benefits:

• A basic Salary of £50,000-£55,000 dependent on experience
• Up to 15% annual bonus
• A company car or £6,400 car allowance

• A lucrative pension scheme totalling 12%
• 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with service
• Flexible in working hours

The ideal Health and Safety Manager will hold:

• A NEBOSH General or Construction certificate or equivalent as a minimum
• Experience within the house building industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
