Health and Safety Officer – up to 42k plus benefits – based in Bolton.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health and Safety Officer within a Global manufacturing and engineering organisation. As the successful Health and Safety Officer you will benefit from developing and implementing your own Health and Safety culture across the site with full support from the board and full autonomy to make a difference within the business.  

You will be based at their Head Office in Bolton, conducting a number of risk assessments and accident investigations, focusing on risk prevention, safety coaching and ensuring that recommended health and safety policies and procedures are in place. The business has heavily invested into Health and Safety over the last 12 months and are looking for the best individual to take them onto the next level of their Health and Safety Journey.

This opportunity is ideal for a Health and Safety professional looking to accept a challenge as the main vocal point for all things Health and Safety. This is a varied position giving you the opportunity to Coach and influence the operational team, in driving Health and Safety forward within the business.

The successful Health and Safety Officer will:

  • Hold the NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Be a people focused individual who is passionate about changing cultures and behaviours.
  • Have a proven experience working within a Manufacturing or Engineering environments.

In return, the successful Health and Safety Officer will be offered a salary of up to 42k depending on qualifications and experience plus a generous package.
