Principal People have a superb opportunity for a Health, Safety & Environmental professional to join a market leading supplier to the construction industry to work in a home-based or office-based capacity (whichever is a preference) with travel when required. This is to include a salary of £35-40K + Car Allowance (£4.5k) + Bonus + 25 days annual leave + Pension.
Reporting directly to the Head of Health, Safety and Environmental for this Central Group function, you will be responsible for driving and implementing new and diverse HSE improvement initiatives and programmes across the business and its functions. This position is an excellent opportunity for either an up and coming or well experienced Health and Safety professional looking to work within a highly progressive and market leading business with a strong reputation in their field and one that can offer huge career development opportunities.
Key Skills and Qualifications the Health, Safety & Environmental Improvement Specialist is required to have:
- NEBOSH General Certificate Minimum (Diploma level is desirable)
- Have had exposure or experience in the delivery of HSE improvement initiatives or programmes within a business
- They are relatively flexible on background but anyone having held experience with machinery and fleet is a benefit
- Be an engaging and ambitious individual who is able to liaise at all levels.
