Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Advisor - £35k-£40k plus a Company Car, 25 days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays and a Private Pension Scheme based in Bury St Edmunds

Principal People are delighted to offer an excellent opportunity for a Health, Safety, Environment and Quality professional seeking a progressive opportunity with a civil engineering contractor. With the chance to work on prestigious Infrastructure contracts, this is an opportunity for a Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Advisor to become a vital member of a growing HSEQ team.

Working on multiple sites across East Anglia with an office based in Bury St Edmunds, as well as carrying out site inspections and audits, the successful HSEQ Advisor will be given the responsibility of developing innovative health and safety solutions.

This site and office-based role will be reporting directly into the HSEQ Director and you will be joining a team of Advisors as the organisation grows. This is a fantastic time to join the organisation and represents the opportunity to continue progressing a career within Health, Safety, Environment and Quality.

Key responsibilities of this Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Advisor include:

  • Developing innovative Health and Safety procedures to be used by the company
  • Reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  • Conducting site inspections and audits
  • Ensuring Health and Safety compliance is maintained on site with the contract team

The successful HSEQ Advisor will hold:

  • Experience within Utilities, Construction, Civil Engineering or a similar sector
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Full UK driving licence

Our client is open to seeing candidates with a varied level of Environmental experience with exposure to the Infrastructure industry or a similar sector including Utilities, Highways, Rail, Civil Engineering or Construction.

In return the successful candidate will be entitled to up to £40k + Company Car + Fuel Card + 25 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays + 5% Pension Scheme.
