Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Advisor - 35K plus package based near Runcorn

Principal People are pleased to be working with a growing and established Civil Engineering and Utilities organisation who are currently going through a period of substantial growth. Looking to add to their growing and developing team, the organisation hold an excellent reputation as a progressive and developing company within their field. With direct reports to the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager, the heavily site focused position will require travel across the North West and North East as required. Responsibilities include site inspections, audits and delivering toolbox talks.

The successful Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Advisor will hold strong communication skills, manage their own diary and be proactive in delivering a positive Health and Safety culture.

Reporting into the office based near Wellingborough, core responsibilities include:

  • Site inspections   
  • Reviewing risk assessments and method statements  
  • Accident investigations  
  • Delivering toolbox talks
  • Conduct audits
  • Support and involvement with CDM
  • Attend regular internal and client meetings

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in Utilities, Civil Engineering or Construction is highly desirable. Our client is however open to candidates who have an awareness of these
  • industries and are currently working in other high risk sectors  
  • NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction or equivalent.  
  • Full UK Driving licence.

In return the salary is £30-£35k + company car or car allowance + fuel card + pension scheme + 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays + Bonus.
