Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager – Based near Maidstone - £55K plus package – REF MM26841 

Principal People are thrilled to be recruiting for a truly unique opportunity for a Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager to join a rapidly growing utilities company based in Kent with sites across the South East. The organisation work collaboratively with a number of high profile Utilities, Construction and Civil Engineering clients & contractors.

The business has seen a period of phenomenal growth and with plans to grow year on year, this is truly a unique opportunity to join a business with an extensive potential and commitment to their employees. With an emphasis being placed on training and development, the business is an advocate for the successful candidate to expand their knowledge.

This predominantly office based position will report into the Directors of the organisation and will visit sites approximately once per week.

Remuneration and Benefits:

  • Basic Salary of £45,000  - £55,000  depending on experience
  • Car allowance of £3,600
  • 9% overall pension
  • 24 days Annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with 2 years’ service

The successful Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager will hold:

  • A NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction certificate or equivalent as a minimum.
  • Experience working in Construction, Utilities, Civil Engineering, Refurbishment, Hard Services, Highways, Traffic Management or similar.
  • A clear understanding of ISO19001, 45001 and 14001 management systems
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the construction or utilities industry
