Health, Safety Environment (HSE) Manager – London & working from home – up to £50,000 plus benefits

Principal People are currently exclusively recruiting a HSE Manager in partnership with a well-established trade association business. To be based out of the Head Office with occasional travel to client sites and flexibility to work from home. This role offers the opportunity for a current Health and Safety Advisor or standalone health and safety manager to take the lead within the business, in a standalone capacity, taking ownership of the strategic elements of safety and implementing new initiatives across the organisation, helping members (small to medium businesses) improve their HSE standards. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Memberships.

Key duties include:

  • To develop and implement health and safety strategies and associated policies internally within the business, and providing advice to member businesses
  • Keeping up with industry statistics and best practice on legislation
  • Maintaining the health and safety management system
  • Offering advice and guidance regarding health and safety
  • Working with the organisations clients to proactively reduce incidences of accidents 

For your hard work and dedication, you will be rewarded a salary of £45,000 - £50,000 plus benefits, depending on qualifications and experience.

  • Hold a NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum
  • Have 3-5 years’ plus experience within a dedicated HSE role
  • Have experience of working in a customer facing / related business, or working in a multi-site capacity and working with multiple stakeholders
