Principal People have an exciting opportunity available for a Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Manager to join a globally renowned engineering contractor working on Hinckley Point C on a 3 year project on the site. The salary for this position is to pay £45-50k + Car Allowance + 25 days annual leave + Pension + Benefits.
Reporting directly to the HSEQ Director, this is a fantastic opportunity to join an established, global brand who are continuously expanding and highly reputable in their field. This is an opportunity for an established health, safety, environmental and quality professional to gain invaluable exposure to working on this high-profile project and to work within a renowned organisation who pride themselves on their impeccable SHEQ culture. As the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Manager you will be tasked with implementing the SHEQ strategy for the business in order to achieve goals, initiatives and targets whilst also providing technical and SHEQ management advice, support and guidance to managers and employees on all matters relating to SHEQ issues.
To be successful for the role of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Manager you will:
- Be NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate qualified minimum.
- Hold an associated Environmental qualification (e.g IEMA / NEBOSH) - Essential
- Have construction industry experience (Ideally within Construction / Mechanical Engineering (M&E) / Heavy Engineering / Installations / Rail / Energy)
- Be an engaging and strong communicator able to liaise at all levels.
This role of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Manager is paying up to £50k + Car Allowance + 25 days annual leave + Pension + Benefits.
