Principal People are seeking a Health and Safety Professional to be part of a successful and established Construction business that will provide you with an opportunity to work on multiple diverse projects in London. With 5 large scale Construction projects across London, this business will allow you to expand your experience and grow your career within Safety, Health and Sustainability and work alongside highly experienced professionals. This role is also offering strong progression opportunities for the right person.

This business is looking for a predominantly site based Senior Health, Safety & Sustainability Advisor that will have the autonomy to make the role their own and be a trusted member of a small yet experienced and established Health & Safety team, whilst communicating with senior figures within the business in relation to Health, Safety and Sustainability. We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and knowledgeable Health & Safety professional who holds a strong communication skills, a passion for Health & Safety and an ability to lead Safety on site.

Key responsibilities of this Senior Health, Safety & Sustainability Advisor include:

  • Conducting site audits
  • Delivering Toolbox talks
  • Attending site and office meetings
  • Liaising regularly with site teams
  • Writing and reviewing RAMS
  • Carrying out Accident Investigations
  • Delivering Training and conducting workshops

The successful Senior Health, Safety & Sustainability Advisor will hold:

  • NEBOSH Construction or equivalent as a minimum
  • 3 Years’ Experience within Health & Safety
  • Full UK Driver’s License
  • Experience within the Construction industry
  • Member of IOSH

Beneficial criteria for the Senior Health, Safety & Sustainability Advisor are:

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
  • Environmental Qualification
  • Training Experience
  • Temporary Works Coordinator

In return the successful Senior Health, Safety & Sustainability Advisor will receive £45,000.00 - £50,000.00 + £5,500 or Company Car + Fuel Card + Private Healthcare + 28 Days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays +  Private Pension Scheme more.
