Lead Health, Safety & Sustainability Advisor - £60k - Home Based, Covering sites across London

Principal People are seeking a Health and Safety Professional to be part of a successful and established Construction business that will provide you with an opportunity to work on multiple diverse projects in London. With 5 large scale Construction projects across London, this business will allow you to expand your experience and grow your career within Safety, Health and Sustainability and work alongside highly experienced professionals. This role is also offering strong progression opportunities for the right person.

The successful individual will have full autonomy to make the role their own and be a trusted member of a small yet experienced and established Health & Safety team, whilst communicating with senior figures within the business in relation to Health, Safety and Sustainability. We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and knowledgeable Health & Safety professional who holds a strong communication skills, a passion for Health & Safety and an ability to lead Safety on site.

Key responsibilities of this Lead Health, Safety & Sustainability Advisor include:

  • Conducting site audits
  • Delivering Toolbox talks
  • Attending site and office meetings
  • Liaising regularly with site teams
  • Writing and reviewing RAMS
  • Carrying out Accident Investigations
  • Delivering Training and conducting workshops

The successful Lead Health, Safety & Sustainability Advisor will hold:

  • NEBOSH Construction or equivalent as a minimum
  • Experience within the Construction industry – ideally Build or Major project experience.
  • Full UK Driver’s License

Beneficial criteria for the Lead Health, Safety & Sustainability Advisor are:

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
  • Environmental Qualification
  • Training Experience
  • Temporary Works Coordinator

In return the salary is £50k - £60k + £5,500 car allowance or Company Car + Fuel Card + Private Healthcare + 28 Days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays +  Private Pension Scheme + travel expenses
