Multi Trade Operative - £32,000 - £35,000 – Woking – Permanent

Social Housing Recruitment has partnered with a growing and passionate Surrey based housing association. They are a small housing association with just under 600 properties, who are currently in the process of an exciting growth period; expanding as an organisation to nearly over 1,000 units, with a combination of general needs and supported living schemes.

Their mission is to be one of the leading housing providers in the area and to put residents at the heart of everything they do. They are offering an exciting opportunity for a Multi Trade Operative to engage and provide quality, resident-focused maintenance services. The role will involve working with a close-knit team to provide all aspects of carpentry, within a mixture of residential properties.

The successful Multi Trade Operative will be responsible for:

  • Delivering a diverse multi-trade service helping with a wide range of property repairs or improvements from voids, bathroom & kitchen improvements through to plumbing and other general property maintenance works.
  • Working closely with customer contact teams and repairs teams to help coordinate diaries so travel is efficient and urgent repairs are delivered to maintain resident satisfaction.
  • Acting as a point of contact for residents therefore creating a good environment for them whilst work is being completed.
  • Working as a team player with the mindset to help and improve and go forward as a team.

The ideal Multi Trade Carpenter will possess:

  • Working knowledge of delivering a repairs service within a housing environment.
  • High levels of customer service.
  • Relevant qualification in either City & Guilds or NVQ qualifications (or experience equivalent).
  • Full clean Driving license.
