Up to £40,000 + Bonus + Company Car + Package – Major International Bank - Regional Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor – Newcastle / Teeside
Principal People are delighted to have been engaged by one of the world’s largest financial organisations to recruit for a Regional Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor based in the Newcastle / Teeside area with travel around the North of the UK.
Health, safety and wellbeing is paramount for the business and this role will be visiting outlets, offices and retail branches around your region. You will be completely autonomous of your diary and schedule, ensuring safety and wellbeing compliance throughout the business environments in your location.
You will not be required to have had experience of wellbeing previously in your role/s, and the company will ensure that you are fully trained in this as it is a key focus for the business alongside health and safety.
In a week, you can expect your priorities to be dealing with reactive health and safety matters for 2 days of the week, proactive health and safety matters for 2 days of the week and wellbeing training and delivery for 1 day of the week. Whilst this is not completely fixed, this is generally what you can expect your week to look like.
This is a great opportunity for a Health and Safety Advisor or Consultant who may currently hold a Graduate Membership of IOSH (GradIOSH) or Chartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH) that is interested in working for a house name brand, working autonomous and flexibly across multiple sites within their home region.

The Successful Candidate will Possess:
- A level 6 health and safety qualification
- A Graduate Member of IOSH (GradIOSH) or Chartered Member of IOSH
- Full UK driving license, with a willingness to operate across multiple sites
In Return the successful Regional Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor will be responsible for:
- Building relationships with Managers of each retail outlet and office
- Conducting assessments
- Conducting audits
- Reporting findings back to branches and managers
- Ensuring implementation of policies and procedures within the organisation
In return the successful Regional Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor will receive a generous salary of up to £40,000, company car, bonus, 27 days annual leave (not including Bank Holidays), CPD, generous pension scheme plus more!
