Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Advisor - £32-37K plus company vehicle and an extensive package covering multiple sites across Thames Valley

Principal People are delighted to be recruiting for a Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Advisor within a leading Utilities and Construction organisation who are currently going through a period of rapid growth. The large organisation who are nationally renowned within their sectors have an ever growing portfolio and operate consistently to the highest standards of safety.  

Working on a multiple site basis this position will offer the successful candidate excellent development and training opportunities. The successful Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Advisor will be covering multiple sites in the Thames Valley area. The Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Advisor will hold experience within Utilities, Civil Engineering or Construction. However our client is also open to other industries and various experience levels.

Looking to add to their established team, the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Advisor will be reporting directly into the Senior Health and Safety Advisor and be responsible for site inspections, maintaining a high standard of safety culture and ultimately ensuring safety on site.

Key responsibilities of this equally strategic and operational role include:

  • Conduct Toolbox talks on site.
  • Completing site visits & inspections
  • Carry out accident investigations
  • Reviewing RAMS
  • Maintain a high standard of safety culture and ensuring safety on site

The successful Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Advisor will hold:

  • Experience within the Utilities, Construction or Civil Engineering sector
  • NEBOSH General certificate or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Our client is open to seeing candidates with a varied level of experience of Health and Safety within Construction, Civil Engineering, Rail or Utilities sector. However our client is also open to other industries.

In return the salary is £32-37k + company vehicle + Fuel Card + pension scheme + 24 days annual leave + discretionary bonus.
