Principal People have an exciting position available for a Health and Safety Advisor to join a highly respected and consistently growing building services and maintenance organisation. This role is based near to Waltham Abbey and is paying a salary of £30-40k + Pension.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive organisation who are looking for a personable individual to join their close-knit team delivering health and safety responsibilities across the business including assisting with RAMS, keeping the companies accreditations and health and safety folders up to date and site visits and inspections when required. The business is searching for an individual whom is happy to work as the sole health and safety function within a company and is capable of working autonomously. This company pride themselves upon their quality of work and subsequent commitment to safety giving this individual to be a part of a well-respected business.
To be successful for the role of Health and Safety Advisor you will:
- Hold the NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum
- Have an understanding of tradesmen and associated risks, ideally coming from a background within building services, Hard Services, Fit Out or Refurbishment
- Be happy to work autonomously within a sole health hand safety position.
- Be an engaging and communicative individual able to liaise at all levels
