Health and Safety Advisor – £25-30k plus package, based near Nelson, Lancashire

Reporting directly to the Health and Manager, you will be responsible for conducting site audits and inspections.
This role will suit an up and coming Health and Safety professional who has recently qualified and holds experience within the Construction, Civil Engineering, Utilities, Manufacturing industries or other high risk environments.
The successful Health and Safety Advisor will be organised, have strong communication skills and be able to manage their own diary autonomously.

The appointed Health and Safety Advisor will be responsible for:
- Site inspections
- Reviewing risk assessments and method statements
- Giving health and safety advice to the site team and toolbox talks.
- Accident investigations
- Promote a strong Health and Safety culture
- Site audits
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Nebosh General or Nebosh Construction
- Full UK Driving licence.
- Experience across Construction, Civil Engineering, Utilities, Manufacturing or other high risk industries.
In return the salary is £25-£30k + access to company vehicle + 8% pension scheme + 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays + Discretionary bonus
