Principal People are delighted to be recruiting for a Health and Safety and Advisor to join a family owned Construction organisation with offices across the UK. The successful Health and Safety Advisor will be entitled to a salary of up to £40k plus package.
This Health and Safety Advisor will report directly to the Health and Safety Director and will cover site predominately in the greater Nottingham area, covering projects from defence estates to education the Health and Safety Advisor would gain exposure to unique and prestigious projects valuing up to £30 million.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for Health and Safety within the midlands with the occasional sites across the UK. This significant but hugely positive challenge will include preparing construction phase plans, undertaking site safety meetings, carrying out weekly site inspections as well as in-depth audits every 2 months.
The successful Health, Safety and Environmental Manager will hold:
- Experience within the Construction sector
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
