Health and Safety Advisor – up to £35,000 + Discretionary Bonus + Family Healthcare Scheme + 5 % Pension Scheme + 22 days plus bank holidays that increases with service.

Principal People are delighted to offer an excellent opportunity for a Health & Safety professional seeking an exciting opportunity within the Environmental Recycling industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an established Health and Safety team and an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking for longevity and autonomy within their role.

Working on multiple sites across London, the successful Health and Safety Advisor will have the opportunity to engage with multiple site teams and the senior management team.           

Based near Dartford, this role is to aid with driving Health and Safety forward and improving upon behavioural culture. They have recently won some exciting projects in and around London, so it’s an exciting time to join the company and be part of the team. This company has a fantastic bonus scheme to offer employees and the chance to have full autonomy to be able to make your own mark on this role as a Health and Safety Professional.

Key responsibilities of the Health and Safety Advisor role include:

  • Reviewing RAMS
  • Site inspections
  • Coaching on-site teams
  • Creating and delivering Engaging safety initiatives
  • Ensuring safety on-site
  • Management of safety documentation
  • Maintaining ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and OSHAS 18001 management systems onsite

The successful Health and Safety Advisor will hold:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum
  • Experience or knowledge within the waste/recycling industry although not essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

In return the successful candidate will be entitled to up to £35,000 + Discretionary Bonus + Family Healthcare Scheme + 12.5 % Pension Scheme + 22 Days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays, which increases with service.
