Interim Health and Safety Officer – Near Cambridge - £19 per hour – Full Time, Interim – 4 to 6 Weeks – Manufacturing / Distribution
Principal People have been engaged by a leading UK manufacturer who require an immediately available interim candidate to cover a position for 4 to 6 weeks. This role is to support the organisation whilst a member of the health and safety team is on sick leave.
Key Information about the organisation:
Our client is a UK market leading manufacturer and distributer with a single site near Cambridge. You will need to be able to hit the ground running, but the health and safety manager is very near to this role for any support needed. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on for a short term, 4 to 6 weeks.
You will be required to:
- Complete site audits
- Conduct accident investigations
- Hit the ground running and work autonomously
- Carry out operational health and safety duties
The successful Health and Safety Coordinator:
- Must hold a NEBOSH General Certificate or greater
- Must have experience in health and safety on a manufacturing or distribution site
- Ideally will be a member of IOSH
This is ideal for someone who is immediately available and wants to take on an interim role for 4 to 6 weeks.
In return, the successful Health and Safety Coordinator will be offered a salary of £19 per hour.
