Health, Safety and Environment Manager - 35k-45K plus 20% bonus, car or car allowance and extensive package based near Blackwell, Cumbria

Reporting directly into the Health and Safety Director the successful individual will be operating both site and office based throughout Cumbria. This significant but hugely positive challenge will include close communication with all senior management and project teams as well as accident investigations and toolbox talks.

The successful Health, Safety and Environment Manager will be responsible for:

  • Accident investigations
  • Imbedding and developing company procedures and policies
  • Training for site staff
  • Supporting to all management team
  • Reviewing risk assessments and method statements
  • Providing robust reporting across all areas of your role
  • Advising on safe systems for work 

Health, Safety and Environment Manager will hold:

  • NEBOSH Construction or NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent as a minimum
  • Experience in the, Civil Engineering, Rail, Plant or Construction
  • Excellent communication and I.T Skills
  • Full UK Driving License

In return the salary is £35 - £45k, company car or car allowance, Fuel card, 4% match pension scheme, 20% bonus, 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays, Life insurance and Healthcare scheme.
