Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor £250-£280 per day, 2-month contract.
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for the position for a Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor with a market leading company. Principal People are delighted to announce that we are working with a key client of ours in the civil engineering industry, on prestigious projects such as HS2, Thames Tideway and other key civil engineering projects across the UK.
As the competent person for Health and Safety, the primary function of the Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor is to communicate best practice policies and practices across the group to ensure the safety of their employees and site teams.
The successful Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor needs to ideally be based in a location commutable to either St Albans or Mansfield and be happy to split their work with a mixture of site, home and office based with 2 days a week from London.
The successful Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor will be responsible for:
- Toolbox Talks
- Site Inspections
- Reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- Resolution on actions and report writing
- Accident and Investigations
- Client and contractor safety talks
- Ensuring general safety and compliance is impeccable across sites
- Site safety meetings.
The ideal individual will possess:
- NEBOSH General or equivalent
- Safety CSCS Card
- Experience in civil engineering is vital to be considered for this position.
This industry leading company are offering a day rate between £250-£280 (depending on experience).
