Health, Safety and Environmental Officer – up to £35,500 + Benefits – Camberley

Principal People are delighted to offer an excellent opportunity for a Health & Safety professional seeking an exciting opportunity within the Aerospace industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an established high preforming Health and Safety team and an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking for a fast-past environment to work within and have the autonomy within their role to make a difference.

The successful Health, Safety and Environmental Officer will have the opportunity to work closely with the sit Senior leadership Team and supporting the Group Health, Safety and Environmental strategy at site level, ensuring legal compliance standards are achieved and maintained.       

This will be a single site role Based near Camberley, this position has a responsibility towards due diligence and corporate responsibility, and will require good communication and influencing skills, with all levels of staff on site. Key responsibilities of the Health, Safety and Environmental Officer role include:

  • Reviewing RAMS
  • Site inspections
  • Coaching on-site teams
  • Creating and delivering Engaging safety initiatives
  • Ensuring safety on-site
  • Management of safety documentation
  • Maintaining ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001 management systems onsite

The successful Health, Safety and Environmental Officer will hold:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum
  • Experience or knowledge within the Manufacturing industry although not essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

In return the successful candidate will be entitled to up to £35,500 + attractive benefits.
