HSEQ Advisor - Utilities and Civil Engineering Contractor - sites in West Midlands and the South West - £33-£38k plus extensive package
The company is a market leading company within their specialist field with projects predominately based across the West Midlands and the South West, with the ideal candidate commutable to these locations.
This immediately recognisable brand are looking for a HSEQ Advisor to join their business. The successful HSEQ Advisor will directly report into the HSEQ Director and play a key part in Health and Safety across the company’s sites.
The successful candidate will receive a salary between £33-£38k depending on experience plus extensive package including a company car, fuel card for business and private mileage, pension scheme, 20 days annual leave rising a day for each year of service and childcare vouchers.
Operating within a highly regarded and growing Utilities and Civil Engineering organisation, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to progress within these industries.
The successful HSEQ Advisor will be responsible for:
- Maintenance of Policy and Procedures
- Site Inductions
- Basic Safety Training
- Reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- Maintaining and Improving Safety Culture
- Client and Site Meetings
- Updating the database
- Maintaining compliance
The ideal candidate will possess:
- NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction certificate
- Telecoms, Utilities, Civil Engineering, Groundworks, Highways, Construction/House Builder experience are essential for this position
- A driver’s licence is also essential
