A fantastic opportunity for a QHSE Assistant for a leading company within the manufacturing industry has arisen. The successful QHSE Assistant will report directly to the QHSE Manager and become part of a well established and professional company which truly cares about its employees.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
·Assist in the continued development and improvement of the current management systems ISO9001 and OHSAS18001
·Auditing against ISO9001 and creating action plans for improvements
·Support and assist the QHSE Manager in the development of reporting platforms.
·Managing any changes necessary through business needs in terms of quality, health, safety, and environment
·Collate and present accident and incident stats on a regular basis across the board
·Communicate and liaise with other departments regarding Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality data & information
The successful QHSE Assistant will:
·Demonstrable experience in formulating, improving and implementing Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
·Have the ability to influence and encourage pro-active behaviours to continually improve the overall QHSE culture.
·Experience in using Management Systems, ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001
·Excellent IT and administration skills
·Good communicator, both written and verbal.
The successful applicant will receive a salary between £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience. Benefits include; pension, free life assurance, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays with the opportunity to buy more days.
