Regional Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Manager

Regional Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Manager required to join a renowned brand within the logistics industry.

This is an incredible opportunity for a Regional Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Manager to expand their career within an organisation, who have an enviable reputation as a forward thinking industry leader.

Reporting to the Divisional Health and Safety Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving company safety policy, to improve awareness of HSEQ, in order to create a positive and safe working environment, across a large number of sites and all business functions.    

This is a newly created position due to extensive growth and changes within the organisation. The successful candidate will be home-based, residing in the Midlands, and happy to travel for the requirements of the role.

The appointed Regional Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Manager will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining safety policies and standards to improve overall understanding and awareness of strategy and risk plans

  • Driving standards across a number of sites to create and develop a positive HSEQ culture

  • Working with and influencing external organisations and bodies which could impact upon the organisations activities

  • Providing subject matter expert knowledge, advice and guidance in all aspects of best practice HSEQ

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have significant HSE experience within a transport, logistics, distribution or similar environment

  • Hold the NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum qualification (although will ideally have achieved the Diploma or equivalent, or be actively working towards this)

  • Possess previous experience in an autonomous multi-site role

In return the salary for this Regional Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Manager position is paying up to £50k plus car or car allowance, a 3% pension contribution, BUPA and 25 days AL, plus the option to buy additional days.
