Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Advisor - 35k-45K plus package - Utilities
Principal People are delighted to be recruiting for an incredibly exciting, newly created role for a Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Advisor to join a highly reputable Utilities and Civil Engineering organisation covering sites across London and the Home counties.
The business has grown consistently and have recently been awarded further long-term contracts which has enabled them to seek a motivated Safety, Health, Environment and Quality professional to join their growing team. The position will offer the successful candidate exceptional support, training and development opportunities.
The position which will report into an office based near Edgware or near Purley dependant on a candidate’s location, will cover sites as required across London and the Home counties. A site focused role, responsibilities include site inspections and toolbox talks.
The key position will also hold the following responsibilities:
- Conducting audits
- Site inspections
- Engage with the workforce and staff in training and support
- Assist with Incident investigations
- Toolbox talks
- Attend regular internal and client meetings.
The successful Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Advisor will hold:
- Experience within Utilities. Highways or Civil Engineering.
- NEBOSH General Certificate or NEBOSH construction as a minimum
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- UK Driving license
Our client is open to seeing candidates with a varied level of experience of Health and Safety within Utilities, Highways or Civil Engineering.
In return the salary is £35-£45k + access to company vehicle or car allowance + fuel card + pension scheme + 28 days annual leave including bank holidays.
