Safety, Health, Environment & Quality Manager (SHEQ Manager) – FTSE100 – North West - Home based with UK travel – £32,000 - £35,000 + up to 25% Bonus + Company Car and Fuel Card
Principal People are delighted to be exclusively partnered with a blue chip, FTSE100 organisation that specialise in support services (FM).
The business are recruiting for a SHEQ Manager to advise on the safe practices of the company’s operational employees on a day-to-day basis.
This is an exceptional opportunity for someone that is:
- Currently a Health and Safety Advisor
- Currently a Health and Safety / HSEQ / SHEQ Advisor
- Currently a Health and Safety / HSEQ / SHEQ Manager within a small company
- Looking to bridge the gap in their career between Advisor / Manager
- In an advisory level position with aspirations of becoming a Manager in the future
The role will involve:
- Being home based, travelling between company sites / depots around the UK (approximately 50% of the time spent out at sites)
- Maintaining (with the opportunity to improve) the companies current SHEQ management systems
- Promoting a positive health and safety culture throughout the company
- 90% H&S responsibilities, with a growing focus around; Environment & Quality
As the successful SHEQ Manager, you will:
- Have 3 years’ experience minimum in a Health and Safety role
- Hold a NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum
- Ideally have worked in the following industry sectors; Facilities Management (FM), Transport, Warehousing, Logistics, Fleet Management, Specialist Cleaning, Building Services
