Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Manager – 3-month contract £260-£290 per day – West Bromwich
A SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Manager) is required to join a key client of ours on an initial 3-month contract with the possibility for a permanent position after. This position will be a multi-site role with the ideal candidate based a commutable distance to West Bromwich with sites across the midlands.
It is an excellent opportunity for a SHEQ Professional looking to progress their career within a leading and progressive business that works in a specialist area in varying environments within the utilities and construction industry focusing on projects within water, power and gas. You will be responsible for health and safety responsibilities upon varying infrastructure environments the business works within and is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills, exposure and credentials within a respected business whilst helping to manage a small to medium size health and safety team.
As the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Client meetings
- Overlooking health and safety on site
- Managing a small to medium size team
- Audits and inspections
- Reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- Accident Investigations
The ideal SHEQ Manager will hold:
- NEBOSH Construction or equivalent
- Experience within Utilities, Construction and Civil Engineering
- Driver’s License
If successful, the candidate will be rewarded a day rate between £260-£290 per day with the possibility of a permanent position thereafter.
