Senior Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager - £55k-£65k plus a Bonus, Company Car and extensive package based in South Wales

Principal People are thrilled to offer an incredible opportunity for a Senior Health, Safety, Environment and Quality professional seeking an opportunity to work with a market leading Principal Contractor. With the chance to work on a prestigious contact for an organisation renowned for their level of Health and Safety, this is an opportunity for a Senior Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager to implement their strategic skills on a multimillion pound project.

Working from an office based in South Wales and sites across the whole of Wales, the successful Senior Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager will be working within the senior team and strategically managing safety for a major project.

This strategic role will be reporting directly into the Project Director and you will be managing a team of 3 Health, Safety, Environment and Quality  Advisors. As well as this, the successful Senior Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager will be planning and managing the compliance scheme for the project and attending regular client meetings.

Key responsibilities of this Senior Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager include:

  • Strategically manage safety for a major project
  • Manage a team of 3 HSEQ Advisors
  • Advise and support the contract team
  • Attend regular business and client meetings
  • Report data to the client on the project
  • Plan and manage a compliance scheme

The successful Senior Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager will hold:

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience managing Health and Safety professionals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

The ideal Senior Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager will have experience in the Construction, Civil Engineering or Utilities industry in a managerial capacity within HSEQ.

In return the successful candidate will be entitled to up to £65k + Discretionary Bonus + Company Car or Car Allowance + Fuel Card + 25 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays + 7% Pension Scheme + Private Health Care.
