Meet the team

Hello, I’m Thomas, the Managing Director here at Principal People.

I have been at the company for 12 years now and have see a great deal of growth and positive change within our business and also within the HSEQ recruitment at large. I oversee the strategic direction of our business and ensure the high quality standards that have come to be expected of Principal People are both maintained and continuously improved upon.  

Outside of work, I love spending time with my friends and family, travelling, eating, drinking and enjoying all that life has to offer!

I have been at Principal People since 2014. My currently role consist of the leadership of our team of recruitment consultants as well as maintaining and building strong relationships with our clients  . Away from work, I enjoy spending time with my family which consists of my wife Beth, my two boys Lando and Kobe, our dog Roman and our cats Bentley and Lola.

When I’m not with the family I enjoy dog walks, cooking, playing golf (badly) as well as watching rugby, football and F1.

Hello, I’m Charlotte, the Finance Director here at Principal People. I bring 20 years of experience of working in SMB’s and now support the financial direction of Principal People and day to day finance operations. In my spare time, you will find me in all weathers watching my children play football or out for dinner with family and friends. 

Hi! I’m Joshua, Head of Operations here at Principal People. I joined the business just over three years ago with a decade of marketing experience and have since progressed into a senior leadership role overseeing day-to-day operations. My remit includes everything from managing compliance, technology, marketing, and communications to optimising processes, data, and supporting the amazing central services team. 

Outside of work, you’ll find me spending time with friends and family, out and about travelling, playing golf (not very well), or simply with my feet up watching a good Netflix series.

Hi, I’m Dominic a Principal Consultant here at Principal People, having initially joined PP back in 2018, and then spending a short period of time away from the industry I have now re-joined to lead the Infrastructure & Construction team here at Principal People. I look forward to continuing where I left off, building long lasting, honest, and open relationships with Client’s and Candidate’s. 

Outside of work, I can be found regularly keeping fit via the gym or long walks looking for my golf ball! I am passionate about People, Boxing and Golf! 

Hi! I’m Mike, a Principal Consultant within the Infrastructure division here at Principal People.

Having joined in December 2017 as a Trainee Consultant my role has progressed into working closely with a diverse range of small to large organisations, overseeing and managing the recruitment process from start to finish and providing the best possible candidate experience!

Outside of work, you’ll find me spending time with my young family, watching football or playing golf (let’s not talk about the standard just yet..)   

Hi, I’m Waldo! I joined Principal People in 2021, as an  Account Manager for the busy infrastructure team. The best part of my role is placing incredible people into their dream job opportunities and providing solutions to our client’s needs. 

Outside of work, I like spending time on DIY projects, I enjoy gaming with friends, catching up on a good series and keeping myself up to date on what’s going on in the world. Originally from South Africa, I do like to travel and visit new places when I get the chance to.  

Hi, I’m Elliott and I joined Principal People in 2014. I work in the Contract and Interim team, managing the recruitment process for both clients and candidates as part of my role as a Principal Account Manager.   

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, watching a good series, travelling to new places abroad with my wife and taking our dog Pablo for walks.

I am a Senior Resourcing Partner here within the Manufacturing team at Principal People. It's been over three years since I joined the team and I am looking forward to continue engaging with candidates with job opportunities.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my friends and family and going on holiday.

Hi! I'm Oscar, an associate consultant focusing on manufacturing withing the supply chain team here at Principal People. I recruit across health, safety, and environment, working with candidates to figure out what they actually want from their next move and then matching them to roles that fit. Before recruitment I trained as a police detective and spent years teaching, and the thread running through all of it is the same: getting to know people and helping them take their next step.

Outside of work I'm a bit of a petrolhead, so you'll usually find me watching the F1 or out in the car somewhere. Otherwise, I'm keeping active with a climb, a hike or a game of badminton, or in the mosh pit at a heavy metal gig!

I am an Associate Consultant within the Logistics team at Principal People. I love the process of building relationships with candidates, understanding their career goals, and helping connect them with opportunities that are the perfect fit.

Outside of work, I enjoy all things nature and creativity. Whether it's exploring the outdoors, getting stuck into creative projects, or discovering new places, I love trying new things.

Hello, I’m Jess! I joined the Principal People team in 2016 when I was 17 as an apprentice studying business.

In my spare time I enjoy exploring new places to walk in the UK with my dog, vacationing abroad, spending time with friends and family, attempting to follow new recipes and seeing live bands.

My name is Rosie, I started at PP Recruitment 6 years ago in a Credit Control role and worked my way up to Credit Control Manager. There is more to Credit Control than the stereotypes of only chasing people for money and being aggressive. It is so refreshing that PP Recruitment have an ethical, flexible, and friendly ethos to cater for all our client’s needs. This is why I love my job, (few people can say that and mean it!)

Outside of the office, I have 2 teenage girls, 2 dogs, 1 cat and a hamster to keep me, (very) busy. When I finally have some down time, I enjoy going to the cinema a few times a month and meeting up with friends for a much-needed glass of wine!
