Reporting directly to the Divisional Health and Safety Manager, you’ll travel to sites across the South, championing safety standards and working closely with on-site teams to deliver meaningful change.
What you’ll be doing as Health and Safety Advisor:
- Provide expert and competent advice to Health and Safety enquiries on site
- Carry out audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement
- Create reports for management on site safety performance
- Conduct incident investigations where required to identify root causes and preventative measures
- Maintain positive relationships with staff to help promote a positive Health and Safety culture.
- Assist in the delivery of the company’s Health and Safety roadmap
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with staff at all levels across multiple sites
- Experience with LOLER, PUWER, and manual handling regulations
