Health and Safety Officer

Are you an experienced Health and Safety professional who thrives on making a real impact? We’re working with a highly reputable, medical research organisation who are looking for a Health and Safety Officer to join on an initial 12-month FTC with potential for a longer-term opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake health and safety audits / inspections
• Undertake associated risk assessments
• Undertake accident investigation when required
• General H&S Advice to the organisation and employees
• Undertake basic level H&S training

What We’re Looking For:

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent as a minimum or a Diploma level qualification in a science/ laboratory-based field
• Hold health and safety experience within a laboratory-based environment is essential
• Be happy to undertake fully site-based position
• Be a strong communicator able to liaise at all levels.
