Key Responsibilities:
- Operational site inspections and audits.
- Delivering Health and Safety operational support to the organisation.
- Produce Health and Safety reporting.
- Demonstrate strong engagement in relation to H&S to all site teams and contractors
- Assist in site induction processes
- Act as the focal point for all H&S issues on site
- Make sure all contractor compliance is correct.
The Successful Health and Safety Advisor will hold:
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate (General Certificate may be considered with the right experience)
- Hold strong construction project experience understanding all elements of a construction project
- Have a strong working knowledge of CDM regulations and responsibilities.
- Ideally have acted as Principal Contractor and understand the responsibilities of the PC, Client and sub-contractors.
- Ideally hold M&E project experience
- Experience of undertaking site based operational H&S duties
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
