The Role
This is a highly visible Quality leadership position, with full ownership of the organisation’s Quality Management System to MHRA standards.
Based primarily at a manufacturing site in the Chippenham area, the QMS Manager will work closely with manufacturing, engineering, R&D, and wider business functions, acting as the central point of expertise for QMS governance, review, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Full ownership, maintenance, and ongoing development of the QMS
- Ensuring compliance with MHRA and relevant regulatory standards
- Leading QMS governance, review cycles, and change control activities
- Supporting audits, inspections, and regulatory interactions
- Partnering with operational teams to deliver pragmatic, compliant quality solutions
- Driving a strong quality culture across manufacturing and support functions
- Leading and developing members of the Quality team
- Supporting the business through growth, change, and expansion
About You
This role will suit an experienced Quality professional who enjoys ownership, influence, and working cross-functionally in a growing, regulated environment.

- Experience within pharmaceutical or medical device environments
- A strong background in QMS-focused roles, with clear system ownership
- Senior QA experience, including supervisory or leadership exposure
- Confidence working closely with operations and managing change
- A science-based degree (or equivalent)
- A collaborative, pragmatic approach with the confidence to challenge and improve

Package & Working Pattern
- Salary: £60,000
- Annual Leave: 25 days (increasing with service) + bank holidays
