We’re working with a leading infrastructure organisation known for delivering complex, high-value projects across the UK. The business has a broad operational footprint in Scotland and is involved in a range of long-term programmes, particularly within the Central Belt.

As the Quality Manager, you'll play a key part in a growing team with a large portfolio of live projects, with several more in the pre-construction phase. You’ll oversee the quality of both service and product, ensuring project teams meet the high standards expected by the client and key stakeholders. This is a hands-on and influential role, ideal for someone looking to take the lead on auditing, continuous improvement, and client satisfaction.

This is a hybrid position with1 day per week in the Glasgow office, with the rest of your time split between home and site, depending on business needs.

The successful Quality Manager will be responsible for:
  • Maintaining and improving local quality management systems (non-integrated BMS).
  • Leading internal and external audits across the project portfolio.
  • Managing non-conformance issues and supporting corrective actions.
  • Supporting both pre-construction and construction phases with quality input.
  • Driving compliance with ISO 19650 and CDM Regulations.
  • Approving and auditing subcontractors and supply chain partners.
  • Leading monthly performance and quality reviews.
  • Ensuring quality assurance is embedded across teams and deliverables.

The ideal Quality Manager will have:
  • Internal auditing qualification (essential), with lead auditor certification as a desirable.
  • Experience in construction/infrastructure/utilities/civil engineering or similar industry.
  • Knowledge of CDM Regulations and construction risk management.
  • Confidence to challenge, influence, and drive continuous improvement.
